Delivery Policies for Funeral Flowers Canada

Funeral Flowers Canada provides delivery of funeral floral arrangements, including sympathy bouquets and flower arrangements, funeral wreaths, funeral sprays, casket sprays and sympathy baskets across Canada and the USA.

Funeral Flower Delivery

Please provide as much time ahead as possible for preparing your funeral flowers.

When ordering flowers for funerals please let us know the times of the services and visitations if known, the name of the deceased and the family the flowers are intended for.

There is no flower delivery available on Sunday and Canadian Holidays.

  • We are unable to guarantee flower delivery at a specific time; deliveries are normally made within a time frame of a few hours. However, please let us know if the flowers need to arrive by a certain time for viewing's or services.

For Sympathy arrangements sent to homes, if Recipient is not home to receive the delivery, the delivery person may leave the order at the door if it is safe and weather permits, or leave the delivery with a neighbor, or leave a note on the recipient's door asking them to call the flower shop to arrange a convenient time for re-delivery.  As well, the florist may call first to arrange a time for the delivery.

  • If the recipient's address is incorrect and delivery was attempted to the address, there is a $10.00 address correction fee.  We are not responsible for deliveries made to incorrect addresses submitted by the customer.  If such a delivery is made, the customer assumes responsibility for the entire purchase.
  • If a customer requests the flowers or gift baskets be left at the door, the customer assumes all liability for requests to leave flowers. We cannot be held responsible for missing or faulty product due to this special request.

Cancellation Policy - You may cancel an order prior to the delivery date. Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been designed and are on delivery, or if delivery has been attempted and cannot be completed if recipient is unavailable.  Orders that are placed with incorrect information (i.e. wrong address) that prevents direct delivery cannot be cancelled.

Substitution Policy - Funeral Flowers Canada will make every attempt to fill the order as requested.  However, due to the nature, seasonality and regional availability of flowers it is sometimes necessary to make substitutions of equal or greater value. As well, if a specific container or other items are not available we will make a substitution of equal or greater value.  We will make every effort to maintain the "look and feel" of the specific arrangement by the overall shape, size, style and colour combinations.  If an order is for a single type of flower colour substitutions will be made only, for example, if white daisies are not available a substitution of another colour of daisies will be made. For green and blooming plants, a substitution may be made with similar plants of equal or greater value.  For specific plants (example orchids) every attempt will be made to match the plant type, colour substitution may be made.  Plant containers will be filled as close as possible. With Gift Baskets Specific items in a basket may be substituted if necessary with items of equal or greater value.

  • The message that is written in the card message field will be the message that is sent with the order.  Billing information is not sent with your order.
